It's happening. I admitted to myself a long time ago that I had failed at the whole blog thing. Somehow it seems easier to post picture of the girls on Facebook and call it good. But what we miss is the story!
Today was the first day of 2nd grade for Emma. We were able to drop all of her stuff at the school this past Friday and meet her teacher so today seemed like a piece of cake without any of the anxiety or drama.

Emma didn't really want to participate in the ceremonial picture taking...but we got the picture.

Hannah on the other hand didn't mind it at all! Since Hannah doesn't go to school on Mondays until the middle of October, she enjoyed hanging out with me all by herself and even got to go paddle boarding. Mondays are early release days in the Durango school district so Emma was home by 2:00. The report from the first day of school - it was good!
